The art and tools of quality management are a
mature field since decades. Practically all large and medium size companies have
introduced processes and tools to implement and trace those processes. However,
media breaks and inconsistencies in those processes and tools are a bigger
issue than most of us like to admit. Few project and quality managers have up-to-date
linked information about versioned customer and technical requirement tracing,
test cases and results, incidents, bugs, and changes, feature candidates, tasks
and efforts spent at their fingertips.
Theory is available, tools are there, but why
aren't they fully introduced and used in daily life?
This workshop shall find reasons for the status
quo and present practical examples of turning quality management into a fast
and reliable information source for continuous decision making.

inconsistent data sources by tracing of work
- Liberating project managers
from a secretarial to a decision
