IEEE - Jordan Section Annual General Meeting 2011
IEEE-Jordan Section annual meeting was held on July, 23, 2011 in the Holiday Inn Hotel - Amman. Current section chair (Dr. Gheith Abandah) presented general information about the section, and gave a brief description about the activites of the section during 2011, to download the presentation
click here. Dr. Abandah also introduced the 2012/2013 executive committee, followed by a speech for the new section chair Prof. Isam Zabalawi.Dr. Nasri Rabadi (
Director of Scientific Research Support Fund) was the keynote speaker. His speech focused on Scientific Research in Jordan. Dr. Nasri also took the notes about research in general and about funding in sepecific from the members, with a rich discussion about the obstacles facing presenting high quality research in Jordan and their solutions.The meeting was organized by the Jordan Section. All members were invited and 50 members attended the meeting and the annual dinner in the Holiday Inn Hotel.
