Welcome to the website of the IEEE Education Society – Portugal Section Chapter. This website is meant to provide up-to-date information on the activities of the Education Society in Portugal and also within Region 8 (Europe, Africa and Middle-East), primarily to the IEEE members but also to anyone interested in educational matters for electrical, electronics and computer engineering.

The IEEE – Education Society focuses on the educational methods, educational technology, and instructional materials, history of science and technology, and educational and professional development programs within the electrical engineering, computer engineering, and allied disciplines.

The IEEE Education Society – Portugal Section Chapter was officially constituted in 19^th September 2005, and its purpose and objectives are to promote a diverse range of technical activities devoted to the main areas of the Education Society.

We count on current and new IEEE members to growth and strength the educational activities for these engineering areas in Portugal.
