The IEEE is the
world of Technology for the Today Innovators:-
IEEE is the world
largest and composite technical institute as well as it has been
formulated in all aspects of EE profession. It came in to existence in
1884 by handful people of practitioners of the
new electrical engineering discipline. IEEE is also the
world's sizeable scientific, educational and professional Institute
with
over 390,000 members in more than 150 countries all over the
world. Through its members, the IEEE is a leading authority in
areas ranging from aerospace, computers and telecommunications to
biomedicine, electric power and consumer electronics. The men and
women of the IEEE are the technical and scientific professionals making
the revolutionary engineering advances which are reshaping our world
today.
Achieving
oriented Engineering Goal for Human welfare and prosperity:-
The technical objectives
of the IEEE focus on advancing the theory and practice of electrical,
electronics and computer engineering and computer sciences. Therefore,
to realize these objectives, the IEEE sponsors technical conferences,
symposia and local meetings worldwide: as well as
publishes nearly 25% of the world's technical papers in electrical,
electronics and computer engineering; provides educational programs to
keep its members' knowledge updated with emerging technologies and
obtain expertise with state-of-the-art of EE.
The purpose of all these
activities is to fold:
- It
will enhance the quality of life for all peoples through improved
public awareness of the influences and applications of its technologies;
- And
to advance the standing of the engineering profession and its members.
Engineering Heritage:-
The Birth of Recording
What is Sound? Sounds are really just rapidly vibrating waves in the
air. Those waves make our eardrums vibrate, but instead of feeling the
vibrations, our brains translate them into sounds.
