Dec 26, 2008 The 8-th IEEE Ukraine Section – Instrumentation & Measurement/Computational Intelligence Joint Societies Chapter Technical Meeting was held on December 24 at Ternopil National Economic University, Ternopil, Ukraine. Apr 18, 2008 The 7th IEEE Ukraine Section - I&M/CI Joint Societies Chapter Meeting was held on April 15 – 16, 2008, during the Knowledge Day in Ternopil National Economic University joined together with Student Branch. Participants and students took part in workshops and presentations. Sessions will be held at room 211, 'Conference hall'.[more...] Please, download Work Program May 4, 2006 During April 24-27 Prof. Anatoly Sachenko attended IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference 2006 (IMTC'06, http://www.ewh.ieee.org/soc/im/imtc/imtc2006/), which was held in Sorrento, Italy. There he made a presentation at IEEE Chapters Meeting chaired by Ruth A. Dyer (Kansas State University, USA) about ongoing activity in The Instrumentation & Measurement / Computational Intelligence Joint Societies Chapter (http://ewh.ieee.org/r8/ukraine/im_ci/) of which Prof. Sachenko is a Chairman. The presentation was followed by a very fruitful discussion about how IEEE societies and chapters may benefit its members, how to improve the overall IEEE services to members (including advance notification about conference grants and visa invitations), how to broaden activities of chapters and involve more new members while also ensuring existing members are active within societies. Mar 6, 2006 The second IEEE Ukraine Section - Instrumentation & Measurement / Computational Intelligence Joint Societies Chapter Meeting was held on March 3, 2006, during the 9th International Conference on Modern Problems of Radio Engineering, Telecommunications, and Computer Science (February 28 - March 4, 2006, Lviv-Slavsko, Ukraine). "Intellectual Methods and Means of Information Modelling, Acquisition, Transformation, Processing and Protection" was the special section of the given conference. It was held by the Chairman of the IM/CI Chapter Anatoly Sachenko. There were 11 oral and 10 poster presentations. Dec 19, 2005 On December 19th, at 2:30 p.m. the programmer competition will take place at Building 2, rooms 2303, 2305. Everybody interested in trying his/her skills is invited. Organizers of the first working meeting of the Ukrainian section IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement/Computational Intelligence Joint Societies Chapter will hold a student contest in programming. Organizers of the given contest are FCIT of the TSEU and IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement/Computational Intelligence Joint Societies Chapter. Three winners of the competition will get a prize equal to $25 for the annual membership in IEEE. For participation in the contest you need to register, send information about yourself (first and last name, group, year of birth, means of programming) up to 18.12.2005. Dec 19-20, 2005 The first IEEE Ukraine Section - Instrumentation & Measurement/Computational Intelligence Joint Societies Chapter Meeting will be held on December 19-20th at Building 11 of Ternopil State Economic University, Lvivska 11 Street, Ternopil, Ukraine. Sessions will be held at room 211, 'Conference hall'. Oct 16-23, 2005 Up from October 16th till October 23rd, Kang Lee, NIST, US, will come for a working visit. Meetings with technical working group, group of artificial neuronal networks and web-based systems of measuring information of the Department of Information Computing Systems and Control will be carried out, together with the Department of Specialized Computer Systems, the Department of Computer Sciences, and American-Ukrainian School of Computer Technologies. The meatings with Head of Ternopil State Economical University and the editor-in-chief of the 'Academy' newspaper will take place. Sep 5-7, 2005 The IEEE 3rd Workshop on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems (IDAACS'2005) will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria. |
