A Technical Meeting of IEEE IM/CI Joint Societies Chapter was held on October 7, 2010 during the visit of LogiTeam Company delegation from Netherlands, which included director and founder of the company Ton de Jongh with its Ukrainian partner company "Millennium".

A Technical Meeting of IEEE IM/CI Joint Societies Chapter has was held on June 7, 2010 during the visit of the delegation from Dortmund University of Applied Arts and Sciences, Germany to the Research Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems (ICS). The delegation was represented by Prof. Wilhelm Schwick, Prof. Gisela Schaefer-Richter, Prof. Uwe Grossmann, Mr. Raimond Filges.

On May 27, 2010 a Technical Meeting of IEEE IM/CI Joint Societies Chapter entitled “Experience in Regional Cooperation with IEEE” was held as a separate section of Odessa National Polytechnic University Research Conference entitled "Modern Information and Electronic Technologies", Odessa, Ukraine.

On May 5, 2010 a Technical Meeting of IEEE IM/CI Joint Societies Chapter was held at Ternopil National Economic University. There was delivered a presentation by Vitaliy Vicentiy entitled "Adaptive Dual Control of Topic-Based Information Retrieval", which was followed by the discussion about the information retrieval optimization problems in search sessions. It often involve conflicting goals of an active exploration of the user’s information need, and satisfaction of the user on each iteration.
