A Technical Meeting of IEEE IM/CI Joint Societies Chapter was held on November 26, 2010 during the visit of the delegation from Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice-Zabrze, Poland, represented by Dr. Aleksandra Czupryna-Novak and Mr. Arkadiusz Banasik. They presented the work entitled: “Use of game theory and fuzzy logic in investment process”

During ICS tour visitors were able to get acquainted with the ICS structure and fields of activity. Dr. Ihor Paliy delivered a general presentation about the ICS’ history, outcomes and a specialized presentation entitled “Micro Nucleus Detection in Human Lymphocytes Using Convolutional Neural Network”.  Leaders of ICS research groups presented the main results of their research activity and discussed a possibility of collaboration with Polish colleagues. The topic entitled “The mathematical modelling of complex processes and the biometric identification” was selected within the ICS scope.

The Polish delegation also met with Prof. Bohdan Lutsiv, a Vice-Rector on International Relations, and discussed the perspective plan of collaboration and preparation of the agreement between Silesian University of Technology and Ternopil National Economic University.
