We believe in an intellectual community that challenges the current orthodoxy in science. This is both healthy and necessary to this transformation. What it means to be a young CI researcher in the 21st century
Congratulations to Stephen Matthews, our Student Rep and a PhD student from De Montfort University, who won the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Essay Competition for GOLD members – What it means to be a young CI researcher in the 21st century.
The essay is to appear in the IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine. Stephen will receive a prize of US$500, an official society certificate, and also an invitation from the GOLD subcommittee chair of the Computational Intelligence Society to get involved in the subcommittee for 2011.
