At a meeting of the UKRI Communications Chapter committee in 2001, it was decided to offer prizes of £100 to second year students, in addition to the final-year project prizes which were being awarded. The first award will be made at the end of the 2001/2002 academic year.
A prize will be awarded to the student in each of the departments below who has achieved distinction in his or her penultimate academic year of undergraduate study in a communications-related degree course. (The penultimate year of study should be a non-industry based year).
The recipient of each prize will be decided by his/her own Department.
Please do not apply for these prizes: the Chapter will deal with the university departments directly.
