Call for Nominations: 2010 IEEE Educational Activities Board Awards

Dear section chairs,

I would like to encourage every councils and sections to nominate at least one person in any category this year. R10 has not been very active in nominating our members for EAB awards. Therefore, we have not had anyone from R10 who won these awards in the past as far as I know.

I am very confident that R10 has several outstanding members who deserve to be recognized. The awards ranges from rewarding members, sections, councils, educators, and even organizations. For more details of the awards, please visit Education Awards website. You can also see award recipients in 2009 and the years before. In addition, I am attaching a nice guideline from Alfred Mac Rae 2008 EAC Awards & Recognition Chair on "Preparing a Successful Nomination" along with 2010 EAB award flyer with this mail.
