In order to achieve higher goals for IEEE, Chapter activities play a very important role. A Society/Technical Council Chapter, which is the technical subunit of one or more IEEE Section, is your local link to the valuable resources available from the IEEE and the 38 IEEE Technical Societies. An established and active chapter serves the technical need of a professional member in a better way. This also enables in arresting fluctuation in memberships.
Region 10, being a very important and active region of IEEE, would like to give more thrust on its chapter activities with two prong approach.
We solicit your support and efforts in achieving these tasks. Please take necessary steps in rejuvenating inactive chapters in your section, if any.
It is also requested to induct a volunteer in your section’s ExCom for the promotion of chapter activities and convey his name and email id.
As Regional Chapter Coordinator, I would like to extend all possible help and support in your endeavor to make Region 10, a region with zero ‘inactive’ chapter.
We will appreciate your suggestions which would help us improve the chapter activities within Region 10.
Best Regards,
Deepak Mathur
