Call for Applications: IEEE GOLD Summit -
Closing 11:59pm (GMT), 29 April 2011
The IEEE GOLD Summit is due to be held on 16-17th August 2011 in San Francisco at the same location as the Sections Congress. GOLD Affinity Group Chairs and GOLD delegates are encouraged to approach their local section for funding to attend this event. There will be a limit of five Region 10 funded places for GOLD delegates to attend the GOLD Summit and Sections Congress.
Sections who are willing and able to FULLY fund a GOLD delegate from their section to attend GOLD Summit and Sections Congress are strongly encouraged to do so, and should forward the name and contact details of their nominated GOLD delegate to R10 GOLD Coordinator Timothy Wong (timothy.wong@ieee.org). Unlike the Region 10-funded positions, there will be no limits in the number of positions for purely section-funded GOLD delegates endorsed by their section chair.
The closing date for the funding application and GOLD delegate nominations is 11:59pm (GMT), Friday 29th April 2011. Please complete and submit the application form before the deadline.
