What is IEEE - GOLD?
GOLD is defined as Graduates Of the Last Decade.

If you are an IEEE Member (Full member or Graduate Student Member) who has received your first professional degree within the last ten years, you are automatically tagged as GOLD in the membership database.
The IEEE GOLD identifier covers a 10-year period from this first graduation. If you remain an IEEE Student Member after graduation, you will not be identified as an IEEE GOLD member.
When identified as a GOLD member, you will automatically receive emails from IEEE about the GOLD newsletter, and other events of interest to GOLD members.
You can also attend the many seminars, site visits, networking and social events organised by your local GOLD group. Or if there isn’t a GOLD group locally, why don’t you get a few like-minded GOLD members together and start one?
