Region 2 Graduates of the Last Decade

WELCOME

Welcome to the Home page of the IEEE Region 2 Graduate of Last Decade Affinity group. The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
is the largest professional organization in the world with more than a third of a million members. The Institute is dedicated to the furtherance of
the Electrical and Associated Engineering Technologies as well as delivering qualitative values to its members.

The Graduate of Last Decade (GOLD) program started in 1996 as an affinity group within the Institute with a mission to serve as a value delivery mechanism
for recent graduates and young professionals and due to its success in the last ten years, has expanded in terms of recognition and representation.

The primary locale for GOLD activities is at the section level, where the GOLD affinity group usually named after the Section is closely related and funded
by the local section. At the regional level, GOLD is represented on the Regional Executive Board by a Regional Coordinator.
