From: Sean Haynes [shaynes@rlc.net] Sent: Sunday, January 24, 1999 4:40 PM To: Region 3 Excom Mailing List Subject: FW: GOLD Report Region 3 GOLD Representative Report I would like to thank the Mr. Caston and the N&A Committee for appointing me to this position. In my position as Region 3 GOLD Rep I would like to accomplish the following tasks: 1) Establish contact with all the existing section GOLD chairs. 2) Establish GOLD chairs in all Region 3 sections. 3) Get more sections to send GOLD representatives to PRODEVCON. 4) Get corporate support for GOLD members to PRODEVCON. 5) Establish training for GOLD leaders in the Region. Region 3 had strong representation at the PACE conference last year. I was very impressed with the turn-out. I would like to increase our presence. Last year Alabama Power (throught the efforts of PACE GOLD Chairman Hollis Hart) sent 5 private GOLD members to the conference. I would like to expand on that by getting more Region 3 businesses to send members to the PACE conference. We are also establishing a Friday GOLD Leaders training session at PRODEVCON. I would like all section GOLD chairs to attend this session. I would also like to give a brief statement on GOLD leadership during SoutheastCON. Maybe a brief 15 minute segment during the PACE training. Again, I would like to thank Region 3 for this opportunity. I hope that I will be able expand the GOLD program in Region 3 beyond it's already strong status. Sean -- +--------------------------------+---------------------------+ | Sean A. R.
