Subject: Report of Leadership Development Committee


Report to Executive Committee and Region 3 Committee for the meeting of March
27, 1999.

1.  The Leadership Development Committee consists of myself as Chairperson,
assisted by Jim Beall, Dan Jackson, and Vernon Powers.

2.  The Leadership Training Manuals have been updated for current Institute
and Region changes and reprinted for 1999 use.

3.  A Section officers Leadership Training session is planned for Saturday
morning, March 27, 1999 at Lexington, KY in conjunction with the Region
Committee meetings and SoutheastCon ‘99.  All Section officers who are
attending the Region 3 Committee meeting are encouraged to attend.  Consult
the hotel meeting bulletin board for time and place.

5.  Area/Council Chairs who desire to have Section officers training within
their Area/Council are encouraged to contact me with sufficient lead time to
plan the staffing and presentation.
