Subject: South Carolina Council Report 

The South Carolina Council is in a rebuilding mode.  Late last year
we lost both our Chairman and Vice chairman due to job relocation out
of the area.  I held the position of Chairman of the SC Council in
1993 and was acting as Secretary last year. I called a meeting
February 11th to identify new volunteers to fill the vacant officer
positions.

Glenn Bischof is willing to serve as Secretary.  Nancy Gunderson
volunteered to fill the Treasurer position.  Jerry Freck is to let me
know if he can be our Vice Chairman.  He has some family commitments
to resolve.  If he can not help, Salaman Isa is a possible candidate.

I plan to serve as interim Chairman for this year to provide guidance
for the new volunteers.  All of the candidates have filled the four
officer positions in their respective sections.

Our next meeting is in Columbia on April 22nd.  At that time we
should be able to plan activities for the rest of the year.
