The Region Committee was balloted by mail on the question of whether to submit the names of Charles Hickman and Jim Howard for the ballot for the position of Delegate/Director-Elect for Region 3 in 2000. The teller's committee reported to Director Caston that the motion carried (no negative votes) and over the required number Section Chairs participated in the ballot. The minutes to the 1998 Region Meeting were distributed after the meeting and approved without objection after receiving no changes/comments. An item to reconfirm this action is on the consent agenda of the Region meeting.
