Nov. '99 Board Meeting

  New VP RAB    Antonio Bastos

  Sections Congress 2002 - Approved  to allocate 1/3 projected budget
                         - $150K  each of next 3 years  

                         - Approved sponsorship of Sections Congress 2005
                           to begin planning process

  Endorsement of the Assignment of SC'99 Recommendations forwarded 
  to IEEE EXCOM

  Approved to merge the position of RAB VC Membership Activities and 
  VC Member  Operations  (2001)

  Endorsement of Discounted multi-year membership.  Recomended this
  be established for (2 years and 3 years)  - 2001 for all
  full-dues-paying IEEE members

  Endorsement of Phase 2 of the Region 3 Corporate Relations - 
  Pilot Program  -  Regions 1-7

  Endorsement of the Expansion of the Region 3 Corporate Relations 
  Pilot Program into Region 8

  Endorsement of a Pilot Program to make IEEE Potentials Magazine 
  available on the WWW

  Discussed the submission of Region Budgets to RAB
  -  RAB Finance to prepare a detailed proposal 

IEEE Board of Directors

  Proposed New Financial Model was withdrawn after an ammendment   
  to eliminate allotments to the 3 Major Boards was defeated.
 
  Branding
  - Distinctive Brand
  - remain kite with the right hand rule followed by the word "IEEE" 
  - Entity logos may optionally be used and should not compete with 
    the IEEE master brand.

  A detailed roll-out plan for implementation will be created 
  and presented to the Board in February 2000
