The system is collapsible and portable. The other project, that the girl scouts will build themselves,  consists of an electrical generator made from three permanent and one hand wound 200 turn electro  magnet, energized by hand turning a spindle. The system lights LED indicators. The girls will pay five dollars apiece for the kits. Additional funds of $200 each from  the five Virginia IEEE sections supports the project. The first (bicycle  powered) generator) will remain IEEE property and will be used for demonstrations at Girl Scout activities.
