SUBJECT:  Report for April 1 & 8, 2000 meetings

SECTIONS CONGRESS 2002 will be in Washington, DC.

Since the last Region 3 Committee meeting we have established Region 3
CO-Coordinators for Sections Congress 2002.  Anyone with questions
about SC'02 should contact both Dan Jackson, d.jackson@ieee.org, and
Butch Shadwell, b.shadwell@ieee.org.  The intention is that Dan will
become the key contact for Virginia, Kentucky/Indiana, Tennessee,
North and South Carolina.  Butch will become key for Florida, Georgia,
Alabama/Mississippi, and Jamaica.

An initial Region 3 funding plan for Sections Congress 2002 has been
submitted to the EXCOM for approval, subject to change as more
information becomes available from Regional Activities.  Sections
should become aware of the Region 3 plan in order to make their own
financial plans.  Our goal is to have all active sections represented
at SC'02.
