REGION 3 EXCOM OCTOBER 21/22 2000

Nominations are due on December 1, 2000 for the major Region 3 awards.
This includes Outstanding Service, Outstanding Engineer, and
Outstanding Engineering Educator.  In addition, there is the Employer
Professional Development Award, nominations for which should go to the
Educational Activities Committee (Pat Donohoe).  The Professional
Leadership Award nominations should go to Thomas Bellarmine, of PAOC.

The web site will be updated to include award recipients.  Still to be
competed is a general update to the Awards Manual, and the
establishment of an Outstanding Section award.  Year 2001 Goals and
Objectives will be prepared for SPC.  Finally, ARC is looking for an
IEEE volunteer to serve as Vice Chair. Now that a free trip to Clemson
can be held out as a reward, hopefully we will have some success.
