Subject: SC Council Report

The SC Council held four meetings during the past year in Columbia.  I
am pleased to report that three or all four sections were represented at
the meetings. Activities included planning for the Student Paper
Contest, SC Council Awards, reviewing the first draft of updated SC
Council By-Laws.  We have completed transferring funds to the
Concentration Banking Account.

The consensus of the council was that we needed to retain the officers
for 2000 in the same positions for 2001.  This was to build experience
for the coming years. Those officers are:
Chair - Allen Thomas
Vice-Chair - Marilene Guardia-Baker
Secretary - Nancy Gunderson
Treasurer - Steve Carroll

The next meeting of the SC Council is January 30th in Columbia.
