Director Elect's Report

During 2000 I had the opportunity to serve on two IEEE Board
Committees, the Ad Hoc Financial Restructuring Committee, working on
the Future Fiscal Methodology for the Institute, and the Membership
Development Committee(MDC).  The MDC is administrated by the Regional
Activities Board (RAB).  Additionally, I served on two RAB committees,
the Rejuvenation Committee looking at inactive Sections and Chapters
and the RAB Conference Committee.  All of these committees kept me
very busy and provided new insight into the operations of the
Institute.

For this next year, I will continue to serve on the Rejuvenation
Committee, Membership Development Committee, and other RAB committees
as appropriate.  Additionally, I will be taking on responsibility for
working with the various Region 3 committees and their mentors to help
them develop, track, and accomplish each committees goals.
