North Carolina Council Report

The NC Council has met - both in person and electronically - three
times since last year's report.  Our last meeting was held December 2,
2000 in Greensboro (an e-conf held on Feb 13, 2001 did not produce a
quorum and was not counted).

All sections report that they are active.  All report difficulties in
getting sufficient volunteers for a full slate of officers and
committee chairs.  Some challanges for 2001:

Finding a host for NCSE (North Carolina Symposium and Exhibition) 2001
and beyond;

Getting all sections (and the Council) in line with the CBA rules;

Organizing a leadership development workshop for 2001
