Subject: Newsletter Editor Report to Region 3 Meeting at SoutheastCon 2001

The current issue of the IEEE Region 3 went out in January 2001.  This
edition was a paper copy that went to all members in Region 3 with
34,110 sent by US mail.  An electronic issue is on the IEEE Region 3
website and can be accessed through the url:

I would like to thank Jim Howard and the Florida West Coast Section
for finding a commercial printer that was able to print the last
newsletter at a reasonable cost to Region 3.

The next issue of the newsletter will have reports of the results of
the meetings held at SoutheastCon 2001.  This next will be in
electronic format only.

The Communications Committee will be meeting at SoutheastCon from 9-10
AM on Saturday March 31.  Please take time to attend this meeting to
input your ideas on communications in Region 3.
