Strategic Planning Committee Report

The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) held their e-conference on 8
January and will meet again on 30 March at Clemson.

The Region 3 Strategic Plan for 2001 and beyond was drafted by SPC and
approved by the Region 3 ExCom at their 20 January e-conference. (The
2001+ plan is now on the Web at
https://www.ewh.ieee.org/reg/3/sp2001.html ).  All ExCom members should
review it and share their 2001 goals and objectives with SPC to assure
their adherence to and support of the 2001+ Plan.

The 2001 SPC Mentors assigned to Reg. 3 Committees as follows:

Please include the mentors in your committee meetings.  All have many
years of experience and can be a real asset.

to strategic planning.

During 2001 SPC also expects to complete the updating of the Region 3
History, our ByLaws, and the Operations Manual.

Let's make 2001 a banner year for Region 3!
