Newsletter Committee Report

The newsletter committee is currently compiling articles for the Fall
2001 newsletter.  This edition will be an electronic only that will
cover the activities at the Fall Excom meeting in Jamaica.  I am again
requesting that all committees submit one or more articles to the
newsletter for publication.

As part of the activities of the Newsletter committee I am working
with Charles Lord and Tracy Hawkins to write a module on Newsletters
for the new IEEE training manual.  This section of the manual will
cover paper and electronic (web and email) newsletters.  The section
of the manual will also cover web site development.
