IEEE Region 3 Winter Excom Meeting 
January 19, 2002
Atlanta, Georgia

IEEE North Carolina Council is making its transition
to the new executive committee for 2002-2003. The Executive
Committee officers are:

Carlisle "Chip" Dawson, Chair 
Chris Siegl, Vice Chair
Bill Hennen, Treasurer
Dennis Dice, Secretary

Elections are complete for Eastern, Western and Winston-Salem
sections and their chairs will be part of the Excom.

Bob Pettigrew, Chair 2002 Western Section 
Ed Fuller, Chair 2002 Winston-Salem Section
John B. Gibson Chair 2002 Eastern Section

I have not seen results from the Charlotte Section.

Central Sections Election results should be final in the next week.
Bill Hennen, Chair 2000-2001 

Current action items for the North Carolina Council are:
1. Completion of reports for all sections and NC Council by their due dates
   in February,  2002.  
2. Disposition of the Hickory Subsection.
3. Training of new Section Officers.
4. Completion of missing reports to IEEE HQ by NC Council.
