I have agreed to continue to work with Communications Chair Bill
Ratcliff, Webmaster Chip Dawson and others including the
E-Conferencing committee this year to help facilitate communications
for IEEE service to the member.  I am serving as the Electronic
Communications Coordinator (ECC) and will be continuing as chair of
the RAB Section Chapter Support Committee's sub-committee of all the
Regional ECCs.  Hopefully, we can share our best practices and
recommend changes to the IEEE infrastructure where common needs are
identified.

The electronic services used by IEEE volunteers includes E-mail,
mailing lists, Newsgroups, Web services, TWiki Site, IRC, aliases and
as well as experimental capabilities like richer conferencing
environments and collaboration services.

Brian Swail has agreed to continue to help me out and manage the R3
Section Mailing lists again this year.  Thanks Brian!  If Section
Leaders are finding these e-mails are going to the wrong folks, please
let Brian (b.swail@ieee.org) or me know.
