Region 3 PIO Report

Regarding PIO efforts in Region 3, two projects are in process:
 
1. Working with the various Councils and Sections, as appropriate, to
   promote and encourage sending News Releases to local media
   concerning IEEE interests, including meeting notices.
 
2. Developing PR initiatives to promote engineering as a profession
   for our youth.
 
Details will be discussed at the Region 3 Meeting in Columbia, SC.
