2001 ACTIVITIES REPORT TO NORTH CAROLINA COUNCIL
March 26, 2002

1. The officer's report and financial report were filed with IEEE
   headquarters on schedule.

2. Doug Nuttall, WNC PACE Chairman will represent the WNC Section at
   the SoutheastCon 2002 meeting in Columbia, SC.

3. The WNC Section ended the year with adequate financial reserves.

4. The new officers for 2002 are:

   Chairman             Bob Pettigrew
   Vice-chair           Rick Taylor
   Treasurer/Secretary  Tory Wickwire
   Student Activities   Beth Woodson
   PACE Chair           Doug Nuttall
   Past Chairman        Friend Skinner

5. The WNC Section had seven meetings in 2001.
