ARC Mid-Year Report

    IEEE is reaching the end of the 2002 awards cycle. IEEE USA award
nominations will be evaluated at the IEEE USA office in Washington
D.C. the weekend of September 14.  Several Region 3 members were
nominated for various awards. Additional IEEE medallions have been
purchased, and are being distributed to sections upon request at
cost. The Region 3 award cycle for 2003 is now starting, so please
remind your sections to start putting together nomination packages for
our awards, which will be due on December 1. RAB Award nominations are
due in by October 15, so please go to
