Virginia Council Report to Region 3
March 21, 2003

The Virginia council held its first face-to-face meeting at VMI on
March 1, 2003. The agenda is posted on the Council web site,
https://www.ewh.ieee.org/r3/vc/. Treasurer, Secretary, and Section
reports will be posted there also.

Council leadership changes every two years.  New officers for 2003-04
are:

Council officers (term ends December 31, 2004):
Chair           David Geer , Va. Mountain
Vice Chair      Adeeb Hamzey , Richmond
Secretary       Bill Clayton , Hampton Roads
Treasurer       vacant (Bill Clayton Acting)
Past Chair      Sean Haynes

Section Chairs (term ends December 31, 2003):
Central Virginia Grace Giras
Hampton Roads   William Edmonson
Richmond Chair  Adeeb Hamzey
Virginia Mountain Mark Shepard
Virginia Coordinating Council Scott Goldstein

We are working to fill vacant officer and committee slots.  Bill
Clayton has graciously agreed to continue as Treasurer until Central
can find a candidate.
