Subject: Region 3 Status of e-conferencing   3/21/2003

The Communications Committee continues to utilize e-conferencing as an
integral component of the committee's activities. Other Region 3
Committees, Areas and Councils, etc have been using e-conferencing as
well; however, the "load factor" is rather low in as most of the
organizations appear to be using other means to coordinate their work
efforts. Can e-conferencing enhance your committee's work effort?

Since the next steps of enhancing and supporting e-Conferencing are
somewhat unclear, please take a few moments in your individual
committee meetings to answer the following questions and then forward
your responses to me.

1) List the changes in the current e-conferencing methodology that
   would enhance your usage.

2) Do our work habits require changes in order to use e-conferencing?

   If Yes... describe how or what  must change.....

3) What additional support do you need to make better use of
   e-conferencing in your committee?
