Subject:  Southcon Report 3-23-03

Southcon 03 was held March 19 - 20, 2003 in Tampa, FL.  Although we
did not break any records on attendance or number exhibits due today's
economic conditions, it was considered a good turnout and a successful
conference.  The attendance was between 1,600 and 1,700.  The exhibits
included 86 revenue booths and 6 courtesy (IEEE, ERA, and etc) booths
for a total of 92 booths.  Based on a survey of the exhibitors most
considered Southcon 03 a successful conference and trade show.  Many
are looking forward to Southcon 04, which will be held on January 13
-14, 2004 in Orlando, FL at the Orange County Convention Center,
co-locating with AMCON.
