Region 3 Summer Excom 
North Carolina Council Report

North Carolina Council has not held any meetings since its meeting
in Ocho Rios in April.  

There are three areas of concern for North Carolina Council
1.  Status of the Charlotte Section.  We are still having problems
    communicating with this entity.  The Charlotte Web site is out of
    date and the officers do not seem to respond to email.

2. Status of the Hickory Subsection.  This section consists of
   geographic areas of both Charlotte and Western NC sections and is
   inactive.  While we have not been successful in communicating with
   Charlotte, Western would like to have the area returned to their
   section.  It is a recommendation from the NC Council that this take
   place.

3. NC Council Elections.  I have appointed Charles Lord, NC Council
   Past Chair, to head the nominations committee.  The current serving
   officers have agreed to rotate to the next positions in the
   rotation.
