Subject: Educational Activities Committee Report

The Educational Activities website has been updated with information
regarding IEEE Professional Development resourses such as the EAB
Education Partners Program, the EAB Continuing Education Resources
Guide and the IEEE Center for Education and Training.  In addition,
links to some non-IEEE professional development resources are
included.

A Region-wide Educational Activities Committee was recently formed
after soliciting representatives from the Sections within Region 3.
The Educational Activities Committee now has 6 members with
representation from the Mississippi, Alabama, Huntsville, Palm Beach
and Virginia Mountain Sections.  Anyone who might be interested in
being a part of this committee should contact Pat Donohoe.

The Educational Activities Committee is currently soliciting
nominations for the 2003 IEEE Region 3 Employer Professional
Development Award.  The deadline for nominations is December 1, 2003.
