Region 3 Conference Committee 2004 Goals

* Revise conference manual for Region 3.
* Develop SoutheastCon/Conference Registration System.
* Prepare conference exhibit for BOD in Feb 04.
* Prepare inserts for Feb 04 Region 3 Newsletter.
* Develop Region 3 training program specifically for conference
  treasurers.
* Provide assistance to Southeastcon 2004 conference committee.
* Review and improve horizontal conferences in Region 3. 
* Consider possible new areas, sites, and CEU credits for tutorials. 
* Review and improve vertical conferences in Region 3. 
* Provide Sections information on how to formally solicit Technical
  Society Conferences.
* Examine professional management for conferences. 
* Seek bidders for SEC07, SEC08.

Conference Committee Report

We had an active committee meeting in Atlanta.  We will have an
e-conference in the next month.

SEC03 final report has been submitted to HQ for approval.

SEC04 is well organized and we expect great things from the host committee.

SEC05 is awaking to its tasks and is forming committees.

SEC06 has selected its hotel and will form committees later this year.

Anyone interested in hosting a future SEC should contact me soon.

The conference registration project is underway; watch for more about
this later.
