INDUSTRY RELATIONS

GOAL - To initiate contact with major industry accounts that will help
support the goals of IEEE and the membership who are employed by
industry so that everyone will benefit by this joint relationship.

ACTION - Initial step: Select five companies in each State within
Region 3 and ask for their support to bring about a compatible
relationship between industry, IEEE and the membership to support
common goals that will benefit industry, IEEE and members therein.

TIME FRAME - Initial contact to be done by phone, e-mail and mail to
explore this opportunity and to ascertain results by June 30, 2004.
SUPPORT - All Sections throughout the Region will be asked to assist
as needed.  This initial proposal will be revised as needed.
