Region 3,

The Region 3 Membership Development team begins 2004 with extended
scope and potential.  Director Harrison has asked me to coordinate the
efforts of Industry Relations and Public Information along with
Membership Development.  This coordination will result in a more
focused effort in promoting IEEE to companies, media, engineers and
students within Region 3.

The Team:

Lee Stogner - Membership Development Chair
Brian Skelton - Membership Vice Chair
David Bower - Public Information
Bill Sims - Industry Relations

Our short term goal is to produce a working plan that will drive our
coordinated efforts throughout 2004.

In the meantime, I want to encourage all Sections to appoint a local
Membership Development Chair and to promote membership development
through your newsletters, meetings and key members at their place of
work.  Don't forget the members that will show up on the arrears list.
We need you to contact them and remind them to stay a part of the IEEE
Network.
