Conference Committee Report

Southeastcon 2004: Excellent conference for the members. The
conference had a positive impact on the section and region. The
committee is busy closing all records and accounts.

Southeastcon 2005: Eric Ackerman and his dedicated committee are busy
preparing for the conference. All is going as planned.

Southeastcon 2006: Allan Long and his committee are just getting
started. Hotel contract is signed. Planning continues.

Southeastcon 2007: May be located in the Richmond VA area. Their
committee is meeting this week to start the planning process.

Southeastcon 2008: May be located in Huntsville AL. Their committee is
forming and preparing a bid.

Please step up to the challenge to host a Southeastcon in your
section.

North Carolina Symposium for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics
Conference: Tom Jepsen and his committee have requested papers,
secured a hotel, and is ready for you to register for the conference.
