TREASURER REPORT
                             5 JULY 2004

The IEEE Region 3 budget for 2004 is attached for your review. A few
specific items related to the budget follow. The receipts will be
considered first. The distribution to Region 3 from the RadarCon
hosted by the Huntsville Section was $13,175. Sections have been
requested to provide support for Sections Congress 2005, and receipts
in 2004 total $16,341. Also, $3,700 was provided in 2003. The Regional
Activities Board (RAB) has not distributed any of the regional
assessment as of this date. In a change related to funding, RAB
distributed Section Support via Region (SSVR) funds ($6,150) and funds
to support activities of the Region Director ($3,000) directly to the
Region.

Most of the major expense items seem to be on schedule.  For example,
expenses for the student conference and the Atlanta PACE conference
are close to budget. Travel expenses, B-5.21, are higher than
forecast. Expenses anticipated for the October Region meeting will
result in an overrun for this line item. If you have any questions on
