Central Savannah River Section The CSR Section covers the Central Savannah River Area in Georgia and South Carolina. The Future of Electrical Power." The CSR Section toured the U.S. Army's 31S Satellite Operations and Equipment Repairer's Course at Fort Gordon on 10 June 04. The CSR Section attended the Augusta Grenjackets Baseball game with the Charleston Riverdogs at Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta Georgia on 30 July 04. About 30 CSR Section members, family and friends attended the game. The CSR Section met on 13 Sept 04 at the Red Lobster in Augusta Georgia to hear a talk by Suman Shah about the Professional Activities Committees for Engineers. Shah is the PACE coordinator for the CSR Section. The CSR Section staffed a booth at the CSR Area College Night held in the Augusta Richmond County Civic Center on 16 September 2004. The CSR Section met 11 Oct 04 and discussed the Senior Member Program. This was the Section's first meeting at the new Malley's Bagels and Grits location. Over 12 members are now pursuing senior membership status. The discussion was lead by Terry Bowers (MD Chair), John Cathey (Chair) and Dave Mills(Vice Chair). Most senior meber petitioners expect to submit paperwork electronically prior to the 15 Nov 04 deadline requested by the Advancement and Admissions Committee.
