Awards and Recognition Committee Report - Region 3 We will honor a number of outstanding Region 3 members at our ceremony Saturday evening, April 9, during the SoutheastCon 2005 Conference. Outstanding Engineer - Dr. Robert Moog - "for innovative electronic designs and development of the Moog Synthesizer, and his enormous impact on the music industry" Outstanding Service - David G.Green - "for outstanding commitment and dedicated service to the volunteers and members of Region 3 and the Institute" Outstanding Engineering Educator - Dr. Mo-Yuen Chow - "for outstanding contributions to education in the field of Neural Network Applications for Diagnosis and Control" We will also honor the Memphis Section for their 75th Year Anniversary (May 22, 1930). A number of Region 3 members were recognized with awards at the IEEE USA leadership conference in Tucson.
