Area 6 Report

So far in 2005, after setting the goals and objectives, Area 6 is in an
information gathering phase.  I have met with the Huntsville Section,
and plan on meeting with the Mississippi section soon.  I cannot find
any information on the Mobile section.  I believe they are inactive,
which the Area will discuss Friday.

We are planning a meeting of all sections executive committees during
the month of May which will be finalized shortly.

Goals and Objectives as previously reported:

Goals:
1.      Semi-annual visits to all sections in Area 6.
2.      Seek interest and support for semi-annual section chair
         meetings in Area 6 (likely via e-conference).
3.      Develop a vehicle of knowledge transfer for the area to
         which each section chair and their members have access.

Objectives:

To personally develop relationships with
all sections in Area 6 and gain knowledge about those
sections.

To allow each section chair the
opportunity to develop relationships with other chairs
within the area and facilitate growth through those relationships.

To be a channel of knowledge to all
sections in Area 6 to share successes, struggles and other useful
information from one another or the region.
