Central Georgia Section Spring Report 2005

2004 was another successful year for Central Georgia Section with seven
meetings in the Macon/Warner Robins area.  This year we have had three
section meetings and an executive committee meeting.  We have two more
technical meeting scheduled for April and May with more to follow.  The
IEEE e-notice Mail has been the  primary source of our meeting
notification with great success.

Officers have served two consecutive terms and nominations will be
received at the April meeting for 2006 year.  It is expected that
officers will roll up a position and we will add a new secretary and new
committee members.

We were pleased to be able to make a financial contribution Region 3 for
the Sections Congress in Tampa this coming October.

Goals:  We hope to establish one or more societies and some chapters in
the vast areas of our section. Many of our members live in other major
cities which are one to two hours away.
