Subject: LDO Project Report to ExCom - April 4, 2005

In my last report (1-10-05), I said that we believe that encouraging active
mentoring of fellow and future leaders is a way of better equipping everyone
to do our IEEE jobs. And that through this collaborative effort we all will
gain skills that will help carry us through our careers and beyond.

Attached is our Operational Plan to achieve our mission. You will note that
Phase I of the plan has been completed and that Phase II is on-going.

The next activity will be held at SoutheastCon 2005 at 1-5 PM on April 8th.
This will be a training session and will cover LDO concepts, mentoring
skills, communication tools, and Strategic to Operational Plans. We strongly
encourage the Area/Council Chairs, ExCom Committee Chairs, and the Strategic
Planning Committee Mentors to attend. However, everyone is invited.
