1) Increase the overall activity level of the Section

4) Plan and produce a successful SoutheastCon 2006

We are off to a great start in 2005! Here are the meetings we have
had/are planning for this spring:

Section/CS joint meeting: Public Safety Voice/Data Overview

Seminar: Energy-Efficient Lighting

Section/IAS/PES joint meeting: Theatrical lighting

Section meeting: Student paper/project presentations

Section meeting/professional activities: Offshore Outsourcing by
IEEE-USA

Seminar: Advanced Roadway Lighting

And, of course, we are very busy planning for SoutheastCon 2006 here in
Memphis. Y'all come!
