Past Directors Report - R3 Excom, April 4th, 2005

As your Past Director I have continued to be very involved in the
operation of the Region, and at the IEEE level.  This includes the
following:

-  Assisting the Region Director and the Director- Elect with the
   operation of the Region
-  Working on the upcoming Section's Congress as Steering
   Committee Chair
-  Serving as Region 3 Nominations & Appointments Committee
   Chair (refer to separate report).
-  Serving as a Region 3 Director on the SouthCon Board
-  Serving on the Board of Directors of IEEE-USA as
   Member-At-Large
-  Serving on the IEEE Nominations & Appointments Committee
-  Serving on the Regional Activates Board (RAB) Nominations &
   Appointments Committee

Section's Congress 2005 (SC05) is coming up shortly and I hope all of
the Region 3 Sections are planning to have a representative attend and
to help us provide funding for the Congress.   Our Region has two
coordinators for SC05 and I would refer you to their report for details
of your involvement in SC05.
